Substation line up being dismanlted

A Central California utility constructed a new substation to replace the existing one, which was installed in the 1950s. Two Transformer Technologies’ Field Crews worked to dismantle 4 transformers and 6 large OCB’s, with a combined weight of over 500,000 pounds. In addition, small OCBs, capacitor banks, PT/CT’s, and other miscellaneous items were removed and transported to our Salem Facility. Project was completed safely with no damages or delays. The customer was particularly pleased to receive a Net Payment, and have all the old equipment removed!
