Hydropower Dam Transformer / Substation can being removed to expose Core & Core for Recycling

Transformer Technologies removed 2.5 Million Pounds of transformers and 120,000 gallons of oil from a large hydropower facility on the Columbia River. The project was multi-phase, with units coming out over 7 deployments. For the first phase, we were responsible for removing 14,000 gallons of oil, preparing the 315,000-pound unit for transport, and contracting the Jack and Slide operation. All tasks were performed without any safety or environmental incidents.
